Northern Manufacturing show moving up a gear

Northern Manufacturing & Electronics 2013 - taking place at Event City Manchester, UK, October 2nd and 3rd - has already attracted the support of many of the world’s top equipment manufacturers.

Among the 220+ companies taking part, are many well-known brands, such as Oerlikon Leybold, Brother, Renishaw, Nikon Metrology, Faro and Trumpf. Amada UK has chosen the show for the public debut in the UK of its new HG Series press brakes.

Bystronic will also be showcasing its recently launched XCite 80E. Haas Automation also recently announced its participation, alongside  other leading firms such as Yamazaki Mazak and XYZ Machine Tools. Fronius UK has chosen the show to unveil for the first time in the UK two world firsts: The modular welding-appliance platform TPS/i and AccuPocket, the world’s first-ever MMA welding system with a high-performing lithium-ion rechargeable battery.

But there’s more to the show than just machinery and production hardware: The latest in electronics and components will be showcased by firms such as Component Force, Eurotech Group, Quadrant and many others. At the show, you’ll find everything from hydraulic fittings to shake-proof washers. Subcontracting is well represented too, with companies such as Aerotech Precision Manufacturing, Fife Fabrications and Serious Engineering. There’s also a huge number of specialist service providers taking part, from EMC specialists such as York EMC to international compliance and certification providers TUV Rheinland.
