Omron Electronic Components Europe has introduced a new series of DIP switches with 18 models.

Commenting, Andries De Bruin, Senior European Product Marketing Manager, Omron, “The new A6FR series DIP switches are more convenient to configure with the finger, due to their piano style buttons, which is a welcome feature for most users. The range is available in either on or off set soldering making them very easy to design in.”

The A6FR offers higher reliability through its twin slide contact mechanisms that give better contact than standard single contact push motion plates. The series has 18 models with between 2 and 10 poles and either short or long actuators, catering for a wide range of applications.  The new range is offered with through-hole terminals, contact resistance of 200mΩ max and ratings of 25mA 24VDC. The series is for applications in industrial equipment, commercial devices and computer peripherals.
