Eaton launch a screw-in cartridge valve

Eaton has launched its new ESVL9 screw-in cartridge valve (SiCV), a five-way, three-position proportional solenoid valve. Featuring a patent-pending, integrated load-sensing check control, the latest solution provides a 21% manifold size reduction compared to the external checks available with many five-ported directional control valves on the market.

“As customers transition from on/off control systems, Eaton’s ESVL9 valve provides a precise, compact solution for advanced proportional control,” said Tolu Oluwatudimu Product Manager SiCV, Hydraulics Group EMEA.

The size 10 valve integrates the external check control within the main cartridge for a more efficient package. In addition to providing a compact platform, it allows customers to optimise flow forces and improve metering of flow to the spool–providing stable, even and manageable proportional control.

Additionally, Eaton’s ESVL9 valve was tested in over 30 design cases with full-complicated fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis, resulting in optimised geometry for advanced engineering and design. the portfolio provides engineers and operators with a comprehensive range of valve offerings for both stationary and on/off highway equipment.
