The mono buttons from RAFI's new range RAMO C combine capacitive touch input, a variety of lighting options, and an elegant design within a robust, single housing. Due to the wear-free capacitive input technology and a fully sealed housing, RAMO buttons are ideally suited for use in harsh environments. The single-case housing design and four-pole plug and play connection with M8 or M12 thread sizes ensure a fast, safe installation.
RAMO buttons are sized for standard 22.3 and 30.3 mm mounting holes. They keep a very low profile and are available with square and round collars. The integrated LED provides a uniform illumination of the entire actuator surface. The light is red when not actuated and turns green when actuated. By applying a signal to pin 2, the button can also serve to indicate other status information by flashing red. An interruption of the power supply triggers white flashing to alert the user. Users have a choice of momentary actuation, switching actuation or pulse function (300 ms) for their buttons. RAMO C buttons are supplied with PNP circuit switching as standard. NPN versions are available on request.
In order to meet special requirements, RAFI has expanded the product range to include RAMO 22/30 C+ type buttons that can be customised. Actuation colours can be chosen from 16 million shades for the integrated RGB LED. Further customisation options include brightness, flash colour and frequency. The switching function (momentary, switching or pulse actuation), switching delay and circuit type can be individually programmed and stored in the product.
Regardless of the input circuitry, RAMO C+ buttons can be integrated into PNP or NPN circuits as normally open or normally closed contacts. All saved settings are insusceptible to interference and are retained even after a power failure or prolonged shut-down of the control devices.
For applications that require a tactile feedback, RAFI offers the RAMO 22/30 T series with integrated tactile switches, long-lasting gold contacts and colored panels. All versions of RAMO can be labeled with RAFI's labeling system FLEXLAB and feature IP 66 (IP69K) ingress protection on the front.
