New servo motor cable

Paul Boughton
HELUKABEL USA's new servo motor cable is designed to support the HIPERFACE DSL technology by SICK, a German encoder manufacturer.

This cable design combines the existing structure of power conductors and break pairs with a digital-servo-link (DSL) element. This DSL element serves as the central communication interface between the drive and the motor-feedback system.

The use of DSL technology allows for enhanced transmisson of motor position data and feedback, such as operating temperature.

By combining both the power and data transmission elements into one cable, HELUKABEL and SICK are minimising the amount of cabling used, reducing installation and maintenance time, and lowering overall costs.

In addition to the HIPERFACE DSL cable, HELUKABEL offers cable solutions for both domestic and international manufacturing companies.
