Bracket clamps for a secure hold

Paul Boughton
Kabelschlepp offers a practical, advanced solution for fixing routed cables that is especially secure and by introducing the LineFix bracket clamps consisting of cathodic dip-coated black housing for maximum corrosion protection, a fixing and an innovatively designed pan made of pressure-resistant special plastic.

The design of the bracket clamps allows for the advanced requirements of product design, which is increasingly important in mechanical and systems engineering.

The bracket clamps are designed for mounting on C-rails available for all Kabelschlepp cable carriers as alternative to the universal mounting brackets, end connectors or other connecting elements. Using empirical values from products on the market, the engineers in Siegen, Germany, have developed an optimized base geometry for a perfect hold.

The base of the LineFix bracket clamps is equipped with a retaining lug, which guarantees an absolutely secure fit in the C-rail instead of merely acting as a clamp.

Base geometries without this design detail offer a certain amount of free space on the underside of the rail; strong tensile loads at this point can lead to a shifting of the base so one side of the base jumps out of the C-rail.

The retaining lugs of the LineFix bracket clamps reliably prevent this rocking due to tensile or compressive loads independently of the direction of installation.

The company has implemented a Quality Management System in accordance with the Standard EN ISO 9001:2000. Since 1997 compliance with the Standard has regularly been checked and certified by DNV.
