China's power generation capacity now ranks the second in the world. By 2005, China's power output is expected to grow by 4.8 per cent to 1.73 trillion kWh, and the installed capacity is anticipated to grow by 3 per cent to reach 370GW.

By 2010, China's power consumption will reach to 2700TWh, power installed capacity will be 650GW.

To match with the rapid growth of market demand in China, EP Shanghai 2005 - The 5th International Exhibition on Electric Power Equipment and Technology and Electrical Shanghai 2005 - The 4th International Exhibition on Electrical Engineering, Electrical Equipment and
