Portable rental steel tanks increase on-site storage capacity

BakerCorp, specialialists in liquid containment solutions, has introduced a series of large volume, portable steel rental tanks to the European marketplace.

Specifically engineered to European industrial requirements, the vapour tight Baker tank is constructed from 6mm, S235 carbon steel for the floors, walls and top deck.

The tank frame is constructed from 6mm c-channel, S355 carbon steel. Each tank contains up to 70000 litres of liquid per tank while a series of 20 tanks can hold up to 1.4 million litres of liquid storage

Baker tanks feature three sealed access hatches for easy viewing and cleaning, a top-mounted pressure/vacuum relief valve, smooth wall interiors and 'V' shaped bottom for improved draining and cleaning.

Safety features include an integrated, slip-resistant staircase and work platform with guardrails along the stairway and access landing.

Industrial applications include refinery and chemical plant processes, water and waste water streams, groundwater containment, plant turnaround and emergency liquid containment.

All Baker tanks undergo a stringent maintenance and inspection program to ensure the highest quality. Baker tanks are approved for road transport throughout Europe and are available for delivery 24 hours a day.
