Non-invasive sensors monitor liquid levels

Non-invasive sensors monitor liquid levels

Sensortechnics is introducing the new CLD series of non-invasive ultrasonic fluid monitoring sensors. These enable continuous bottom-up liquid level detection based on accurate, reliable, pulsed ultrasonic time-of-flight measurement.

The CLD series features an innovative pulsed ultrasonic technology to enable a very high degree of accuracy and reliability. This non-invasive design, with no contact between the sensor and the fluid, eliminates all media compatibility and sterility issues.

The CLD series provides an analogue output voltage proportional to the liquid level.

A separate logic output to report custom specific liquid level set points is also available.

The CLD sensors can be used with plastic or metal containers and tanks and are completely scalable to various tank sizes and geometries. They are mounted to the bottom of the tank with no need for a coupling agent. In addition, the CLD detectors can be customised to any form, fit and function to meet customers' special requirements.

Sensortechnics says its latest liquid level sensors are suitable for many medical, laboratory, pharmaceutical and industrial applications.
