Anixter Components’ new range of ATEX-approved cable glands for use in hazardous locations (type ‘e’ or ‘d’ according to EN50014, EN50018 and EN50019). The glands fix cables securely in place and are suitable for applications in potentially hazardous areas, including machine apparatus and plant equipment, control and feedback systems.

The diverse range is available in sizes from M16 to M32, with diameters of three to 25mm and the glands can operate in a temperature range of -20 to 95°C. Designed for use in the most demanding applications, all the glands in the range carry UL, CSA, VDE, CE, Germanischer Lloyd, ATEX and
