Industrial connector gains Han-Quick Lock termination technology
Harting's Han Q8/0 industrial connector insert is now available with the company's innovative Han-Quick Lock termination technology for rapid field assembly. This patented technology allows time-saving and simple assembly with no need for tools other than a standard screwdriver. The reliable and vibration-proof contact offers high reliability in power, signal and control applications.Electrical specifications for the new insert are the same as those for the existing Han Q8/0 with crimp termination, and the device is 100 per cent plug-compatible with existing units.
The Han Q 8/0 insert incorporates eight power contacts plus a protected earth, with terminals for stranded wire with cross-sectional areas between 0.5mm2 and 2.5mm2 (AWG 20-14). Maximum current and voltage ratings are 16A and 500V, respectively.
