Amplified miniature ultra-low pressure sensors for high accuracy OEM device applications

Sensortechnics’ new HCLA pressure sensors combine high precision digital signal conditioning with innovative miniature package styles. These sensors are suitable for ultra-low gage or differential pressure measurements from 2.5–75 mbar.

The HCLA series utilises the latest ASIC technologies to offer amplified analogue and digital I2C output signals. Additionally, SPI or switching outputs as well as custom specific outputs are available on request.

HCLA sensors use a dual chip compensation technique to achieve a very high offset stability and virtually no position sensitivity in comparison to conventional sensors.

A 3V supply voltage (standard 5V) is available as an option and makes the HCLA pressure sensors ideal for portable device applications.

A wide range of miniature single inline and SMT housing options allows for space-saving PCB-mounting and maximum OEM design flexibility. Sensortechnics customisation service can provide very fast and flexible mechanical or electronic sensor modifications based on customer specific requirements.

Typical applications of the new HCLA pressure sensors include medical devices such as ventilators, respirators or anaesthesia machines as well as environmental controls and HVAC applications.

Sensortechnics GmbH is based in Pucheim, Germany. www.sensortechnics.com/hcla
