Guide enables easy mounting of cabinet locking systems
Attaching cabinet door hardware such as locking systems can be difficult and time-consuming. To combat this, FDB Panel Fittings is introducing a new clip-on rod guide for flat rods. This push-on guide fits easily to an M6 weld stud and then accepts a clip-in industry-standard 14x3mm flat rod. For multi-cabinet lock installations this is advantageous, as fitting each clip takes only a couple of seconds yet alignment is assured; a variant for round rods is also expected to be available in the near future.FDB says that, if required, the tool-less installation process is also reversible by simply unclipping the rod and then unscrewing/unclipping the guide itself.
