Concealed hinge is installed without tools
New from Dirak is the 4-125SL concealed hinge Pr03 130degrees for surface-mounted doors. An innovative new user-friendly design enables doors to be lifted-off for maintenance. In addition, the hinge incorporates Dirak's D-Snap technology for quick and easy installation.D-Snap technology enables the new hinge to be installed and released from the front without access to the back, plus the hinge can be installed on closed profiles. Door installation is said to be easy, and achieved without any need for tools; by pushing the door into its hinged position, the spring-loaded closing bolt of the door part of the hinge slides behind the hinge pin automatically. For removal, the pin in the frame part is pulled and the door is lifted off, with the pin remaining captive within the frame part. The new hinge is water- and dust-tight to IP65.
All of the advantages of D-SNAP Technology are incorporated into the design. This includes: tool-less assembly without screws or nuts; high-reliability installation due to the noticeable snap that helps to ensure zero-defect assemblies; durability to withstand harsh vibration; blind assembly with no need to access the back of the panel; and a quick and easy installation process.
