Two materials combined to build one IBC pallet
Using an IBC with a combi pallet, which consists of a plastic bottom plate and plastic corner skids, can stand any competition with the established steel pallet. Initial tests have shown that the Werit group’s combi pallet is much more resilient on daily handling of IBCs than any steel pallet.
The reason for this high resilience is that the corner skids are made of plastic. They do not deform or crack on rough handling. Together, the steel tube frame and the pallet build a strong unit. The bottom plate of the combi pallet and inner bottle are arranged to boost resilience in the most effective way. Therefore, the combi pallet is designed for a long life service-which is an important factor for reconditioning.
The system for collection of IBCs, a joint venture between the companies WERIT and Pack2Pack, ensures a pan-European (and other parts of the world) collection of IBCs from each manufacturer.
