Magnetic door lock suits has integrated electronic switch
The switch uses the innovative, entirely electronic process known as Acotom2, which is based on an electronic decoding system. The Super Magnet is mainly suitable for lightweight doors in applications such as machine safety or fire doors. The holding force of the Super Magnet is 20kg for maintaining a door in closed position.
When connected to the Comitronic Awax safety module, the Super Magnet can achieve category 4 in accordance with EN 954-1.
One of the advantages of the system is reliability, as there is no moving mechanical parts and, consequently, no mechanical wear.
Moreover, unlike mechanical locking systems, the waterproof Super Magnet does not have any openings, which helps to enhance the life expectancy.
Two models are available, depending on the applications: the E version (unlocked under voltage), is mostly used for machine safety; and the R version (locked under voltage), is mostly used for fire doors.
