Vishay Intertechnology is introducing the Vishay Systems G4 family of advanced process control instruments.
Applications include process weighing and controlforce measurementautomationforce vector calculationshigh-dynamic force measurementand high-speed batching/blending systems.
The G4 modular structure enables the user to tailor its performance according to the applicationand is available in four versions – DIN railpaneldesktopand harsh-environment – thereby providing easy installation in any type of environment. All units support a high update rate (up to 800 updates per second)a high sample rate (up to 20 kHz)synchronised multiple measurement channels (up to eight)true vector calculationintegrated digital inputs and outputsand a modern user interface.
The G4 is compatible with a variety of industrial communication interfaces: ProfibusDevicenetModbus TCPEthernetUSBRS485 and RS232. Software upgrades can be downloaded from the web or transferred to G4 units.
