High pressure pump system with flexible cleaning options

A new high pressure pump system offers single and multi-user system flexibility and higher performance ranges. The small foot print of the high performance JetPower180 stationary system, only 3700x1500 x2050mm, makes it suitable for applications where space is limited. For example, tunnels, dry docks or confined space use. The flexible system can also be delivered as a mobile unit for rail, truck transport, or mounted on an ‘over-the-road’ trailer.

In order to achieve high performance levels, the pump and booster pump are coupled directly to the 180kW/240HP diesel offering a stable and robust platform with minimal weight. The 180kW (240HP) Jet Power system is offered in six performance packages.

The staggered packages cover ranges from 104l/min (27.5USgpm) at 800bar (11600psi) to 28l/min (7.5USgpm) at 2800bar (40600psi). The pump effortlessly goes from pressureless mode to full pressure. The KD724 upright pump model is extremely user-friendly as it can adjust itself to varying nozzles and tools when set at a single performance range. The heart of the system is the robust high pressure pump, capable of handling varying water quality making the demand for fine filters and potable water less important.

The JetPower systems can easily be used with spray guns, spray lances, dump guns, or other surface preparation tools. The pump can be delivered with tool systems to make customer’s specific applications easier for concrete removal, coating removals, rust removal, surface cleaning or heat exchanger cleaning.

The JetPower control system manages the system functions so that they run optimally with the individual tools and set operating conditions. The control and program functions are viewed on a menu supplied clear text display which is also available in several languages. The user-friendly interface makes learning the system functions almost self-explanatory thus requiring less training.

Similar to the smaller version of the JetPower 125kW (170HP) the 180kW (240HP) model uses the same safe and innovative diaphragm controlled safety/pressure valve. The soft closing valve integrates the functions of the previously separate safety, pressure relief and shut-off valves. The operating pressure is constantly monitored via the control panel and the relief pressure of the valve is adjusted automatically. Thus, if an operator uses, for example, the wrong nozzle for an application that would normally cause system over pressurisation, the control valve automatically adjusts the system pressure to prevent overpressure and costly replacement of rupture disks. An additional advantage of all JetPower models, from 125kW (170HP) to 180kW (240HP), is that they are supplied with identical control systems.

The 180kW (240HP) water cooled diesel engine is designed to offer sufficient power reserve for long trouble free operation in various climatic environments including high elevation or high temperature climates. The diesel unit meets strict EU emission standards and is manufactured by several reputable brand name companies offering quality worldwide service even in the most remote global regions.
